...There's Morrowind. I'm going to buy it really soon :D anyone else play it?

I like the fact that you every single building can be entered, every nook and cranny explored, etc.

I have a copy of marrowind sitting around somewhere, it came with some hardware I built for a client, and I doubt churches use their machines to play video games

I have it I just have not played it much, I also have Oblivion and also a patch/program called oldoblivion that allows me to run Oblivion.

i played it alot. then got bored of it

edit: i remembered why i didt play it after a while. i just got tired of all the occultism and darkness. i mean theres like no such thing as a bright and cheery day in that game, just got tired of everything being shadows and darkness and random vampirec ghouls jumping out to kill me without me having a gun

I played oblivion till I got powerful enough to kill guards, then I roamed around killing things...

I have it, and all the expansion packs, but I don't have it installed anymore. I've been playing Oblivion a lot though.

You have to beat it, and then it lights up. OR so I am told.

I thought we were discussing Morrowind....

Not all the areas are dark and scary on Morrowind. Red Mountain and such do clear up once you beat the main quest-no more dust storms.:) But areas such as the Grazelands and Azura's Coast tend to be brighter, with lots of grass.

Yes it does, I beat it...

A) Blight goes away.
B) Dreamers quit dreaming.
C) You quit dreaming.
D) When you ask people about "Nerevarine" their disposition toward you goes up... and you can do it more than once.

Does this make it where a less-than-adequate processor will run it?!
I need a better processor and that's all. I have the game.

This thread makes me want to play it now -,-"! It's C$'s fault! :P

So? Finish the game and it gets better, your supposed to be saving the world. Whats the point in saving it, if it isn't bad in the first place.

*applauds* And the world is certainly bad in some areas. *cough*VivecCurioManor*cough*

But there are nice areas as well.

In short, yes.

I tried Morrowind when it came out and had a hard time getting into it. Then many months ago I picked up the GOTY Edition for $5 for my Xbox thinking that I'd give it another go. I still haven't been able to get into it.

I guess the problem is that it feels like a MMORPG without the people. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I could have played it with coop with at least one friend.
