Hello everyone!

I'm excited to announce that our first guild Outreach Night will be on Thursday, October 19th, after bible study. Please vote in the poll above for the mission/quest you would prefer if you will be attending. Please do not vote if you cannot attend!

I took into consideration all of your suggestions from this thread, and added a few of my own. I think we should focus on difficult missions/quests that require some measure of team coordination. I also attempted to get a good mix of quests and missions of various levels in both Factions and Prophecies.

When voting, please keep in mind that the purpose of Outreach Night is to share the gospel and witness by example, not necessarily the advancement of our characters.

And the nominees are:

1. Thunderhead Keep - High level Prophecies mission, Group Size: 8, 5 guildies per group.
2. Thirsty River - High level Prophecies mission, Group Size: 8, 5 guildies per group.
3. The Frost Gate - Mid level Prophecies mission, Group Size: 6 (I think), 4 guildies per group.
4. The Villainy of Galrath - Mid-high Level Prophecies quest, Group Size: 8 (leaving from the Temple of the Ages) or 6 leaving from Lion's Arch.
5. Nahpui Quarter - High Level Factions mission, Group Size 8
6. The Captured Son - Low-mid level Factions quest, Group Size: 6 (again, not sure) leaving from Zen Daijun or Seitung Harbor.

I should mention, that just because I am organizing this, it does not mean that I am a master at any of these missions/quests. :o In order to be effective witnesses, I think we must also be effective helpers. If anyone has a lot of experience or knows any tips and tricks, please feel free to come foward to lead us through the mission/quest.

I'm excited to serve with you!

I think THK would be the most sensible choice, as it it likely the hardest one on the list, and I'm sure many a person could use a hand there.

My second choice would probably be either Nahpui (for the same reason) or Frost Gate, since we could get that done quick, and keep doing it, therefore aiding more people.

Kind of a "quantity vs. quality"-ish issue.

One word of caution about the mid to low level missions and quests. A group of level 20's can basically power their way through them quite easily. Make sure that anyone you are helping won't object to basically being "run" through. For example, I have beaten the Frost Gate solo (no hench, mission only) with both my necro and ranger.

The hardest mission in the game may not be the best one for us to cut our teeth on. :D Since this will be our fist time to try it we might want to pick an easier challenge.

OK im am ALMOST possitive that next thursday will be alright but i am not 100% sure. I voted for Villany:
1. My rt needs it :o
2. I think that people just coming into Kryta they get this huge whopper of a quest just when they are getting used to the monsters and stuff.
3. It will allow some more inexperiance people in the Alliance to wet their feet in this
4. i HATE that quest so doing it with friends with my rt would really help me out
5. i think that there are some preety good drops out there.
6. idk but im sure that there are some elites
7. we can also give players a quick run to a nearby town since we will be in the middle of Kryta thus have a 2 in 1 bonus pack.
8. Its a good way to level up a player, ( lots of experiance so a scroll with that would almost power level someone)
9. isnt it a Signet of Capture quest? if so that is a big deal for people just coming into LA so they can get a head start on Elites
10. idk but i just had to have 10 reasons! :p :D :p well anyway WOOT TO THE NEWB HELPING/PREACHING!!!!

There is a Signet of Capture quest in LA but I don't think there are any Elites before the desert.

I think we could do THK outreach solely by providing monks (or monks and a trapper), if we have enough people to split between THK and Villany. I think that the monk shortage is especially bad on tougher missions b/c monks can always find a group so they go through it quicker.

I agree. Regardless of what mission/quest we decide to do, we should provide the monks. I'm currently working to get my factions monk infused and down to THK, but I don't know if I will get there in time for this Outreach Night.

Since it looks like it's going to be THK, I will be doing The Iron Mines of Moladune with my monk sometime to get infused. Probably either Friday night or next Tuesday night if anyone is interested.

Hey everyone! The winner of the poll for the first official Outreach Night is Tunderhead Keep!

Make sure that the character you are bringing has a complete set of INFUSED armor!

We will be gathering in the SOE (Spirit of Elisha) Guild Hall following Bible Study Thursday (Oct. 19) evening.

I'll be bringing my WoH monk.
