I've had my current on for 5 years (3 years on video card and monitor) and its time to upgrade.

I've already bought half of them and I just need the rest.

Currently have for 2012 PC:

Case - Corsair Carbide Series 500R Mid-Tower Gaming
SSD - OCZ Vertex 3 120GB 2.5IN SATA3 6Gbps SandForce
HDD - Seagate Sata 2 500GB
External HDD - Seagate USB 1TB
Heatsink fan - Corsair Cooling Air Series A50 Performance CPU Cooler
DVDRW - ASUS DRW-24B1ST 24X SATA DVD Writer
Router - Linksys EA2700-CA Wireless N Router Dual Band 802.11N
RAM- Corsair Vengeance 12GB 3X4GB DDR3-1600

Rest of 2012 PC:

CPU - Intel Core i7 3820 Quad Core
PSU - Corsair Gaming Series CMPSU-800G 800W

Need Feedback on GPU and MOBO.

I was thinking of the Gigabyte G1.ASSASSIN2 but it has only 4 ram slots and some other crappy functions.

I'm really interested in the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 OC because of the 3 fans but notice the other GTX 670 brands are much cheaper.

MSI GeForce GTX 670 OC - $419.99 CAD
FREE GIFT: Metro 2033 Free PC Game Coupon

EVGA GeForce GTX 670 - $424.99 CAD

Galaxy GeForce GTX 670 - $424.99 CAD

Zotac GeForce GTX 670 - $409.99 CAD

PNY GeForce GTX 670 OC - $424.99 CAD

Aren't Intel systems finicky with their RAM? Will three sticks as opposed to four work (most motherboards come with four slots, not three)?

ur right, its quad channel. I can get 1 x Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3-1600.

In NCIX.ca forum, they suggests the LG1155 Ivy Bridge cause it uses less power and cheaper.

The i7 3770K Unlocked Quad Core is interesting because it can be overclocked easily.

I read next year, Intel is releasing a new CPU that uses DDR4 ram and 6-8 core.
