Favorite Evil Enemy?

Stc95

Tribe of Judah Guild Wars Chapter Leader
I saw this on Guru a while back and thought it'd be fun to have a couple random polls/questions and get to know everyone in the Alliance better. I'll be adding a new question every now and again to keep you on your toes and to keep the discussions rolling. So lets get with it! Who is your favorite evil dude, and why? Be it the Lich, Shiro, Abaddon, Great Destroyer? Some other big time evil guy? Doesn't have to be an end-of-game boss, but someone/thing that's bigger than a tough Mursaat boss you fought once when un-infused.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Lich. The classic "get the heroes to do the dirty work for me while I sit back and watch" is great. He's a well rounded character and I don't think many people saw that he is who he is. I know I was furious when I first made my trip through Tyria.

Shiro comes in a close second for me, only cause he's a take-no-prisoners-kick-butt-turn-the-sea-into-jade guy.

Let the opinions commence!

Off the top of my head I'd go with Shiro - anybody who wants to kill the Emperor and all the rest.

Although - I remember thinking - Varesh, she is going to get her's.

Hmmmm... For me its gotta be the Lich (First main baddy that Magnus Kingmaker defeated)

Followed by Jora's brother.

Then Shiro

Then... Hmmmm... Probably The Darkness in Tomb of the kings.

It would have to be the Lich, as he is the onlt end-game boss that is smart enough to sit in the same mission as his army.

Rotscale. What other non-boss has his own army and can wipe out a full party without blinking? He's so tough that ANET had to make a press release about him. To top it all off, when you finally kill him, sure you might get a weapon, but no morale boost nor chance to capture his skills. I know of few enemies that cause as much frustration as this guy.

Ilsundur, Lord of Fire makes a close second. Not only does he fight players in a pit filled with fire boulders that will kill party members in one hit, he gives players fire bombs to play with (and we are always gullible enough to take them!). If he had Searing Flames instead of Savannah Heat, he would be my first place candidate.

Honorable mentions: All of the Searing Flames bosses (and users, especially in HM). Those vanquishing know if that there is a Searing Flames boss in the area, they'll be lucky to kill it without having a full party wipe the first attempt.

Seacrash, Elder Guardian was able to wipe out most of my survivor's party in one casting of Unsteady Group in normal mode. It didn't take too long before the rest of my party was deceased. Taking 137 damage per hit of Unsteady Ground, I know I was lucky to survive those attacks.

In terms of personal pain in defeating - Cyndr the Mountainheart had me stymied for the longest time - until I had some ranger interrupter heroes.

I have to say Rotscale is my favorite as well. He is surrounded by such lovely scenery and yet he is so BAD! he's so bad, yet it seems I am drawn to fighting him.

My second is Kunvie Firewing the Ele boss with Ride the Lightning. Some reason my innerds just kinda go squishy if I know I have to fight this bad guy.

The third most favorite evil boss I love to hate is Chaelse Flameshielder, the Monk boss, in Grothmar Wardowns. He literally had me in tears the first time I tried to kill him and every time I kill him now it is like a ray of happiness inside me: PAYBACK
.

Okay - I have been swayed - I might just put Rotscale at the top of my list now. He is keeping me from vanquishing Majesty's Rest - not to mention the Zaishen Bounty bonus.

No might about it - Rotscale is on top now. Came very close yesterday - but no cigar. Nuts.

1) Galrath (and his villainy)... He may not be the toughest, but he was the first tough guy I took down, and I felt gooooood.

2) Zhu Hanuku... He's just cool.

3) Borguss Blisterbark... He's got his own burntdown forest in the middle of a beautiful meadow. The light changes just for him.

4) The Remnant of Antiquities in the Sepulchre of Dragimmar... He may be easy for all you guys, but when I finally take him out I'm going to dance on his corpse till the clock runs down.

I'm afraid I must concur with several of the previous posts. Rotscale is indeed an evil enemy. After several attempts, my team of nukers and rangers were able to kill all the enemies around him, but couldn't take him down. And of course, we busted a bunch of money buying blessings from balthazar's avatar.
Wiki says he has over 20,000 hp??? Seems impossible to kill him...Matthew 19:26!!
