I might be getting Farcry and Doom 3 in the Future
if I am able to buy some new computer part's below.

Pentium 4 3Ghz and Motherboard
512 MB DDR

Kewl. Far Cry can run on some medium/lower-end systems, it (the demos) ran on my amd athlon 2100 and 512 mb pc2700 with a gf4 mx 440 fine, albeit most of the gfx settings were set to low. A good game tho, I still need to pick up the full copy, maybe today when I go pick up my pre-buy of Lineage 2. As for Doom 3, you'll the new processor. I dont know what exactly the sys reqs are for it, but knowing id, I expect their engine to all but push past the current technology.

Doom what? What three? Huh? Is there another Doom game in the works? Hrm, it all sounds vaguely familiar...I can almost recall...

Oh, that's right! id announced they're working on Doom 3. I hear it's slated to come out the same time as Half-Life 2, TeamFortress 2, and Duke Nukem Forever. gg illiterate programmers who can't read a calendar.

In the meantime, I'll hug my Unreal Tournament 2004 Special Edition box and play another round of Onslaught. <3 for Epic.

I tried ut2k4 and didnt like it much.. i dunno im hittin a slump with games right now. maybe hl2 or doom3 will renew my interest.

Ive got a book on game design that did a case study on Half-life, and then spent about a page or so talking about Valve's up-and-coming TF2 to be released in a few months. The book was from 1999. The game was done, but it was in the old modified Quake 2 engine used in HL and CS, but the as was got scrapped when Valve started work on their Source Engine which is powering HL2, CS2, TF2, and then another game, I forget its name, but more then likely it will be out well before any of Valve's games if it isnt already, lol.
