So I was the last one to fall into the hype of a new chapter, mainly because I have so far to go due to my former habits of deleting and starting over.

So, now that I've ascended, I suddenly think it might be nice for my character to have some new territory to tread on once I plow through the rest of the game. (Yes, I realize I'm not really anywhere near done.) Also the character slots it comes with will be really useful for me.

Anyway I bought the preorder cd today at Target and now I'm confused. This is the same thing my wife bought online for $50, but they charged me $.99 for it. Did I purchase the wrong thing? Did they price it incorrectly? Is this going to let me play the game or will I have to purchase something else? Can I have a crab pet now?

SO confused!!
 
I am confused too because i have never preordered anything... I bought the preorder pack at best buy and they only charged me like $10.00 for it. I know you get some items and get to play a day early if you preorder but is that all that the preorder is for?

Your preorder cd basically just guarantees the store will have a copy of the game for you to buy when it comes in. It WILL allow you to create an account and access factions the day before it is officially released, but you'll still have to buy the game to keep playing after the pre-release event.

Also, the $10 at Best Buy or $5 most other places will be discounted from the purchase price of the retail game.

I was wondering that... So do you have to show your reciept when you go buy factions?
