Error and bann?

I've recently contacted one of the friend in 1God, (only coupel are considered friend, after all that kicking they did to me..) well he said he was kicked from ToJ and banned from the ToJ CS server.. with No reason. He said the admin was in a bad mood or wat soever.. and was banning him.. I think it was a lil while ago.. when we had 1.5, and i believe he was one of the victim while some one impersonated our admin and started bannin' people.. He's nick he used was DragonSniper, and he was actually kicked from ToJ, i dunno how this happened, but he is a nice guy, so could he possibly join bak again to ToJ? and be unbanned from the serveR? *if he is still banned in 1.6*
 
Since Steam did away with the WON ID system, the ban list was obliterated with the 1.6 upgrade. Of course, after HLSW releases a new version and I spend more than five minutes watching the server when it's full, I expect that to change.
