Is anyone else tracking and looking forward to this game as much as I am? I've recently decided that this will be my next game purchase. It's been delayed for what seems like forever, and I'm hoping my PC will run it nicely, since it does run HL2 pretty darn well. Anyone keeping up with the Oblivion watch and have any info on the game? Release date perhaps? ;)

If you turn from the PC Dark Side, there is a new update to be found on the Xbox 360 version (...which should be very similar to the PC version).

Awesome. I saw a date of March 21 just now on Gamespy, so March seems to at least be the month. Sorry, but buying an Xbox 360 for $400 that comes with no games is not even close to being in my budget. I'll stick to getting this on PC, where it came from and where it belongs. :)
 
I'm rather interested in this game it looks like it could be a lot of fun. I tried to like Morrowind but it always started good but the boring and non intutive combat always seemed to make me quit, that along with the lacking map system coupled with the difficult to find NPC's for the quests.

I had the twenty-five minute video for Oblivion a while back and it looked pretty interesting but all the combat upgrades they were talking about didn't seem all that noticable. I hope they can pull off something special but I'm going to read some reviews before I pick it up.
 
I can't wait! It looks awesome. My computer should be able to run it, probably not on the highest graphics setting but that doesn't matter to me.
 
That game looks SO darn amazing! I never got into Morrowind, but 2 of my friends got absolutely hooked on it. Anyway, I think I'll buy this game. It's just a shame it won't have multiplayer, because for me that would make this game perhaps the best game ever.
 
I think there's more than enough content in the main game to keep someone playing for months and then you have mods on top of that. I think multiplayer would have actually hurt it. But you're a multiplayer kind of guy. ;)

It does look amaing, though. I never played the others either, but this looks to be a good introduction to the series.

I'm one of those two guys, It holds my record for most time devoured by a single player game. Oblivion looks awesome, I can't wait for it. I just hope it'll run decently when I get it.
 
How many nights did I play Morrowind into the wee hours of the morning??

I'll definately be picking this up, I want to see what my new comp can do!
 
I'll be getting it the day t comes out! And the collectors pack to boot! Bethesda is supposed to be using Radient AI, which sounds incredibly awesome from what I read it is going to do to the game!
