Ecto farming

Anyone got a good method for farming globs of ectoplasm? I need some for finishing up my Jewelry.

I thought there was a thread on here some time ago - but I have gone back several months but didn't see it.

Wow Congrats..i haven't done much more than craft 8-slot bags for my 8 characters inventories so i sell all my materials to fund my armor upgrades lol

If you ever want advice in ecto farming, find me online some night and I'll take you on my route and give you some pointers on Orr farming. Sometimes I can get as many as 10 ectos and a couple gold in a few hours (which would be like 6 more ectos).

I will do that. Although, I have not been into Orr yet.

I'm not sure about farming them elsewhere. I prefer Orr due to the abundance of events and people. With event farming, the more people involved, the more loot and thus the higher yield of rares and ectos.

Haven't looked into it, so I don't know the details, but I've seen people talking about salvaging rare gear for ectos.

You get 0-3 ectos per rare salvage of 76+ (some places say 74+).
