DRAFT

I truly dont know what i would have done being in that situation. Its all boils down to how much you trust in Gods plan. Its easy to say now cos there is no big war, no big depression (starts doing the speech from fight club...remembers the end...stops..lol)

God would not have allowed someone like hitler to control the world. And God pwns any man..

Very true, God would not allow Hitler to rule the world which is why I believe that God ordained war on him. We all know that God can strike all men down with the blink of an eye, but he chooses to use men to fix what they screwed up (or other men screwed up).

I guess we can all just be thankful that most of us can enjoy freedom...

Aw, rizz, gone soft on us? =P

Some BOYS just don't have the guts us MEN have. =D (I'm KIDDING)

All have their purpose for living and their own personal convictions, just like mine is to never touch alcohol, just because of my personal convictions.

Though, I will say, if a man burst into your home and was flinging a gun around, I'm willing to bet you'd kill him to protect your family, possibly your wife and children someday.

Same difference to me, some guy busts into MY country with a gun and decides to fling it about? You can guarantee I'm going to come running, Colt in hand.

I hope they do not hold a draft as im would be the first picked when they may put this in place (june 2005) and they accept people turning 20 that year first (me).

I agree we need to deal with Iraq but it should have been done 10 years ago when we were there the first time anyone willing to kill and steal from his own people should never have been allowed to stay in power.

I do not see the need to send boys against their will to fight for a war many of them do not believe in. I would go and fight in some wars but im not going to be another Viatnam Vet comming home and have half the country hate me after being forced to fight a stupid war.

If you join the military, you are pretty much saying that you believe in what the Government believes and you must do what they tell you to do. If these guys are fighting in a war they don't believe in, they shouldn't have joined in the first place and they can't blame anyone else but themselves, unfortunately. If they are drafted, then that's another story and I'm not sure if I agree with the draft in itself. I'd sure hate to be fighting against a bitter, gun-toting anarchist who doesn't believe in what he's fighting for. He could endanger my life...

I agree Exo, Hussein should've been dealt with back in 1992 during the Gulf War when he invaded Kuwait.

When I said people fighting for a war they did not believe in I was refering to Draftee's. If you willingly join the army then you kinda lose your right to complain where they send you.

Ya, that's what I saying - except in a much longer sentence, basically.

actually i am quite capable of rendering a full grown male inactive without a fatality.. but thats enough about my past life.... i would not /wish/ to ever be in that situation.. i think its a very difficult decision to make. You have to balance your love for your family between your love for what is good and of God in a split second.. In that sense i think its very different to war.

If i killed a man breaking into my home i would have to live with that for the rest of my life. I certainly could not premeditate it.
