Sunday is Mother's Day!
I originally posted this in the Guild Wars forum, but then it occurred to me that lots of guys forget Mother's Day! Hopefully this reminder isn't necessary, but it's better to be safe. If I can keep one guy from making his mom feel neglected, it's worth it!
Hopefully, you've already planned for this. If you have a mom, you must do something for her. A card is obligatory. If you are broke, make one on your computer. And not a quick five minute job, either. Put some time and thought into it! Isn't she worth it?
You must still give her a gift, no matter how broke you may be! Make her dinner. Clean the house. Offer to babysit younger siblings so she can go somewhere she wants to go. In other words, show her you love her!
And don't forget grandmothers and wives. It's also nice to at least call any sisters who are moms. (I promise, it's okay to admit you love her just this once.)
Where would we be without moms, after all? And to the moms out there, happy Mother's Day from a lady who doesn't have kids but has seen what it takes! (And has gotten the desperate phone calls...you know the ones I'm talking about!) You're a lot tougher than they suspect!
