Does anyone have video editing software?

I need something a little advanced; I need the ability to display two separate video recordings side by side to be captured in a single video for a project I'm working on. It would be a lot like the Picture in Picture mode for televisions.

Adobe Premiere is good, and pretty easy to use. You just make 1 video a layer on top of the other and resize it.

I was able to create a video with picture-in-picture (webcam footage in the smaller picture, Wii gameplay footage in the larger picture) using the trial for Corel VideoStudio Pro X2.

I don't think Movie Maker does PIP (though I'm not sure as I haven't used it and I can't find it on my Windows 7 Home Premium install), iMovie is exclusively on Macs, Avid FreeDV is no longer available, Wax (if it's the same Wax I tried to use and if I'm remembering correctly) is cumbersome and doesn't do PIP, and even the latest branch of Zwei-Stein hasn't gotten much attention in the last 2 years.

Nevertheless, thanks for the link. Zwei-Stein may prove useful.

I'm downloading the Studio Ultimate trial now. I really enjoy editing, and since my last editor is really outdated I might invest some money into this one. We'll see.
