Santo is frost DK all the way. I'm quite happy with tanking and dps is sufficient for me.

Ok, who else is up for it? I've been studying up on DKs, mostly dps though. Are we going to have a lead for tanking and one for dps? If not, I can handle both

I think the guild is going to go with a blood spec tank, possibly with some frost. I'm not at home right now, but when I get there we can talk spec/gear if you want...

from what i've read blood tanks wont be very good in 10/25 man raids. i hear frost is higher up right now and unholy might even be better then frost. then i got bored of reading and went to play.. lol

I think the hardest problem for me right now is managing off-target aggro. Single target isn't a problem. It's when other members of the party tag off-target mobs and I have to target that mob to taunt it off of them. Not every player knows the basic rules of engagement in fights. It truly is a balance act, but I'm getting better at it the more heroics I run.
If your considering trying to tank, best advise is to get your Def to >=540 and read about the tank's job in the fights. My spec right now is a hybrid of all three trees with a concentration in Frost. I have a certain cast rotation that gives me the maximum amount of threat in the shortest time.

as frost i can tank 3 or more mobs no problem.
basicly when i pull i "dot" up one target, then do pestilence so spread the pain so to speak, then howling blast and BAM i have lots of aggro on all the mobs.
in the few instances i've ran that has worked out very well for me (at least no one has said i suck bad, so i assume as much..)
