In order to add features to the CGA Discord server, I plan to add a bot in the near future. I've already done some research, but would like input from the community as well.
To ensure a reasonable balance of features and security, I plan to select an open source Discord bot and host the bot on an inexpensive (not free) hosting service.
At the moment, I'm leaning toward hosting YAGPDB (Yet Another General Purpose Discord Bot) on PebbleHost.
My only concern with YAGPDB is that it's now owned by BotLabs, so I'm going to be checking out Red Discord Bot as well.
Security is a primary concern, but ease of use and low administrative overhead is important, too.
