Greater Faydark is the best place to start, it looks tons better then the other starting zones (it's the 2nd to most recent xpac). Of course the best starting zone hands down is the new one, but unfortunately you cant go there on a trial account.

I will keep an eye out for a Brug sighting!

woot lvl8 and in the next area , you sure do lvl fast in this game in the beginning,
