Unfortunately I think he hit it right on the mark. I never played D2, but honestly I thought that "this is just how it is". It's good to know that D2 really did have a better system, and hopefully Blizzard will change some of the item affixes and drops before its too late.
I understand and even agree that they don't want people to just farm bosses, and I support their decision, but they should have added something else instead.

Meh. Their just more strict and restricted such as Starcraft 2.
