Here is an *excellent* post by a European VIP on the WoW EU forums. This answers a lot of questions. Granted, a lot of the answers are "feature is upcoming" (which probably means: next xpac...if you are lucky) but it's much better than anything I have seen in the US forums in months and months.
 
Yeah, I like the EU forums, CM's, and MVP's better overall than the US ones. Schwick is a MVP, not VIP, just an fyi. The EU CM's actually seem to give out info, and not just kid around like the US ones are more apt to do.
 
Hey, I figured I should share this.

I got goldspammed the other day, reported it, you know, same old same old.

So I get this rather routine check from a GM... and he doesn't close my ticket. About 20 minutes later I whisper him and tell him that he hasn't closed the ticket. He says (get this): "Oh, don't worry, I left it open on purpose. I'm looking through the server logs to find this person's account name and user information."

About 5 minutes later, he messaged me again to inform me that the account, and all accounts with the same user info, had been permanently banned.

w00t@useful GMs!
 
Hey, maybe I will start reporting them again.... it was seeming like a futile waste of time there for a while.
