Desktop or Laptop for GW2

reason i ask is i don't know anything about video cards
so the systems/parts i am looking at buying/upgrading
i have been comparing them to this site
to see if they will run GW2

would you say this site is accurate for someone not pc savvy?
or do you recommend a better page for the tech impaired like myself?

as far as CPU/processors goes i get that a 2.5GHz is better than a 1.7GHz
and ram is self explanatory the higher the better
i know minimum of 25GB hard drive free space

but i don't get how to read the name/model of a video card and know
it would run the game.

any advice so my efforts aren't wasted on the wrong product?

First question is do you have a pci express slot and if yes the you should look into a geforce 550. It is what I running on my rig and you can find one for around 100 to 120. I can find a link later and post it.

well as fas ar PCI slot..my laptop has one but i'm not interested in buying an external video card and a monitor etc..

the pc im going to look at monday is an HP at an in-laws house
i have no idea what model or what it has inside
but if the cost of it + upgrades exceeds $498
then i will just buy one already built for that.

right now my budget is bad..i sent my son to Bible camp for $225,
just registered/inspected my car for $135

NOTE: this was done on a $765/month budget (whereas i'm disabled)
not including monthly expenses like
Rent,Phone,Propane,Electric,Car Insurance,cable/internet and tithe that consume 85% or better on my total income.

I am having a yard sale Monday hoping to raise some money
to fund a PC or at least something i can save and get parts for

right now GW2 is beyond my reach
and it may be several months before i can join LOE ingame
