Delays are a nuisance

Tek7 (Legacy)

CGA & ToJ President
Greetings, all.

I'd like to apologize for any recent delays in my replying to e-mails sent to my @cgalliance.org or @toj.cc accounts. By the end of the week, I'll have gone to a total of six doctor's appointments. No, I'm not horribly ill. I have insurance that might not last past March 31.

I'm also under pressure to find a new job before April 1, as I'm being laid off March 31.

ALSO, I'll be in Springfield this coming weekend.

ALSO, I'm just now getting over a nasty cold that lasted about eight or nine days.

ALSO, I'm dealing with some pretty terrible back pain that keeps me from lounging at the keyboard for long periods.

So...yeh. I need help to keep CGA and ToJ thriving now more than ever, so pitch in and do what you can to help. I'm not asking for pity; I just want to make sure that things don't start to lose momentum just because I'm swamped with outside obligations. You all should know by now that I love this community and I'd rather be spending time with you all than hunting for a new job. Or going to doctors. Going to Springfield, well, sorry, that's where Ember lives, and, seeing as I'm going to marry her, that's about the only thing, short of spending time with God, that I enjoy more than hanging out with you all.

So, that's my excu--err, explanation. I'll get back to the helm full-force soon...but not soon enough for my liking. >_<

Keep praying for me, that I can be in the best position and attitude to serve the Lord (i.e. not stressing, better job, and fabulously wealthy).

All of you are in my prayers and on my heart!

You're in the prayers. *

Just curious though...Springfield in what state?

Also, good luck in finding a job. *It can be very frustrating, but there's something out there. *(I'm still keeping my eyes open for something that pays better, but not quite as diligently as before.) *If I see anything in my area that I think you'd be interested in, I'll let you know. *Also, sorry we haven't gotten it back to you yet, but we haven't forgotten about your resume. *Things have been a little crazy for me as well...but they should be slowing down a little after today (I hope!).

...and I don't know how new the news is, but CONGRATULATIONS! *Being married is awesome!

When is the date??? Maybe you should be married during the CGAlliance convention.

I'm down with that.

And to eliminate any confusion, we're not officially engaged yet. Emphasis on "yet."  Hehe.  Not that a little ambiguity offends me in the least, but yeh....

Missouri.

And, just to clear up any confusion: Ember is my girlfriend and has been since August 1, 2003 (I mention the date only because I had wanted to date her for a year before we got together). While we're not yet officially engaged (i.e. I haven't been able to afford a ring yet), it's only a matter of time before we're married.
