Current StarCraft II Beta Replays Will Become Obsolete

On the Battle.net forums, Malarh has announced that replays recorded during this first phase of the StarCraft II beta will become unplayable once the 2nd beta phase begins. Previous version folders, where the older patch data are stored, will be removed by an upcoming patch and thus disallow players to view older replays.

That's a really interesting move. And yeah, total bumber; I have a number of very entertaining replays.

Oh well. I suspect that in just a short two months we will once again be saving epicly fun matches. Oh, and all the shoutcasts on youtube and livestreams are still up, so that will keep me entertained for the next few weeks.
