CPU fan shopping

I guess my wife's computer was feeling left out after a capacitor popped on my primary PC's motherboard yesterday. The CPU fan is making awful noises; it's time for it to be replaced.

The processor in my wife's PC is an AMD Athlon 1GHz (Socket A). Can anyone recommend a good (and cheap) CPU fan? I'd prefer to skip the heatsink to save a few dollars, but I'm not particularly pick in this case.

EDIT: Would the Thermaltake A1492 60mm Ball Cooling Fan/Heatsink work?

if you can you might want to fit a 80 mm fan in that would help cool it a little faster and might keep down on the sound

A 80mm CPU fan would be a pretty tight fit on the Asus A7M266 motherboard. That's why I'm trying to keep the dimensions between 60 and 70mm.

EDIT: I'm going to call two local computer shops tomorrow and see if they have any case fans in stock.

typically I get fans from coolerguys.com they have never steered me wrong.

I ended up buying a CPU heatsink and fan at a local computer shop. It was easy to install and works quite nicely.
