Lately, I've been blessed (cursed? :P) with an abundance of time to play games, and I've played CS most of all.

Now, as I frequent the ToJ CS server more and more I notice that there is rarely an admin in the game, and there's a full server.

That's quite pesterful when you're a lone ToJ'er and there's nothing you can do to punish/prevent players from acting up and such.

Hence, I think it's time we call for a revision of the CS Admin list. This is not mean to put down any of the current admins-- we understand that time is a valuable thing, and CS isn't always the first thing on your "to-do" list-- but I believe it would be a good idea.

Anywho, let's get some feedback here, ToJ.

might want to move this to the ToJ Counter-Strike forums. Also the admins have a contact list if you need to find them. on the main ToJ Roster.
 
Right now, the only way to moderate the server is through RCON. Admin Mod isn't yet installed on the server since the upgrade to 1.6 and Steam (which secured Valve's place in history as the only company to produce a patch worse than LucasArt's Jedi Knight version 1.04), so we can't assign server admins through Admin Mod yet.

We ask that everyone be patient a little while longer while Elite finishes installing and configuring Admin Mod.

Until then, I'll either have to password-protect the server again or expand the ban list by eight or ten entries an hour. -_-
 
Well u see. I helped out elite abit, gave him a good site with instructions. He has installed it. However, it's not functioning well in some sort. Please be patient. He's a busy man, and he's already taking alot of time devoted to us, the ToJers. Right now, u can help by praying for Elite, and maybe helping out with the server adminmod configuration

could be a hassle but why not make all the regular ToJ Cs players, and Other enthuesed people from ToJ on reserve on the ToJ server, and make it so that if they try to join someone will be disc, based off ping ect.
 
That'd result in our server's popularity rocketing down. I suggest more admins from different time region. For example, I'm a west coaster, and around 9o'clock, people may join, and the other admins may need to get a lil nap.. If someone from west (like me) could be voted an admin or so, and couple from the central, and east, then i think situation of profanities will fade off.

Couple suggestion for the Admin votes:
Does this person get on server/play Cs alot?
Is he trustworthy? no abusing admin?
Will he be responsible? (again not abusing admin, and trying to solve the problem that people are having)
Not so sure, but maybe person who has some knowledge in server commands, (or given lists) and having some experience with CS. Often people who care so much about how well thye play on a little computer game can start abusing admin. I'd hate to see that happening.

I have a good example of the GOOD admin: Rizz, Tek, Para. (these are all i've seen probably.. if i missed you, plz forgive me, I don't hav a full list of admins around here.)
