my parents are pretty strict about games, and ccgr wrote a really good review, but if it isn't enough, would there be anyway that i could talk them into letting my play it?

hmm... why not? cause it has 'content'? it does... but however, look online for like famous names, like pc magazine, and other things review are VERY helpful...

Are you purchasing it with your own money?

Are you playing it on a computer you purchased yourself?

Are you playing it in a room that you pay rent for?

If you said no to any of the above, you're probably out of luck.

Why don't you ask your parents what their concerns are about the game?

yah i know, they made me give up blockbuster to they buy me a new game every couple of months (which i'm very VERY fortunate for) and i was lookin at this game, and the only thing they would have problems with is the sexual content
that and realistic violence is what bugs them the most. (i'm 12 by the way.)

grunt, the ESRB rating on Sims 2 is TEEN.

TEEN
Titles rated T - Teen have content that may be suitable for persons ages 13 and older. May contain violent content, mild or strong language, and/or suggestive themes.

As you are not 13, I think your parents are right in not allowing you to play the game and you should respect their decision.

thats a tuffy cuz ive had the orignal game for a while. heh, but i tink if ur lucky enough to get a game every few months, id just stick with that and not complain.

i'm allowed to play some T games, which is why i posted this
