the following players will initially make up the core squad for our competitve counterstrike team:

Goose62
Tank
Whon
4top
Creshinibon
Dead_Aim

CS leaders, who will also serve as alternates:
exodus
elite
parakletos

if you didn't make the list that means nothing. send me an email and we'll hook you up with a tryout at a practice.

if you did make the team, please note practices will begin very soon, and we my start playing very soon.

Goose62 will be the team captain in charge of strategies and some other minor responsiblities yet to be determined

take it upon your self and maybe try to get like a B team together ( the ppl who want to be on a team) and practice in pubs and stuff together and give our comp team some good practice, who knows you could even spank em a few times

I delegated most of the responsibility for strategy making over to 4top. Making up strats and reveiwing them takes A LOT of time, I know because I used to do it for our cal team a while ago. I just don't have enough time anymore, I'm married with a full time job and pretty active in church. So thank 4top for helping me out BIG TIME! Thanks mang!
 
Good job guys - wish I could dedicate more time and help out but I know you guys would like a hand in this as well. I can't "control" everything!

Let me know if I can be of any help, but ultimately I've left everything up to Exodus and Parakletos...thanks for your help!

I think it's great that 4top is going to look up strats, but "in my own professional opinion" every team member should look up basic strats to know why and what 4top has and needs when the time comes. Just good pratice never hurts to be overprepared.
 
Good point Whon ... it'd be good if all the team members could watch cal-i demos periodically. Just to give you ideas for strats, and just to see how professionals play. It helped me out a lot, moving from the newbie stage to ABSOLUTE AND COMPLETE PWNAGE ... nvm

I have some mad good strats for train/dust2/inferno/cpl_fire/clan_mill and lots of others. First practice ill show them to you guys....I also have a 13man priv laggyservers priv if we need to use it (toj is full of pubers having fun).

Also glad to hear 2nd hand I made the core team not once but twice....I feel so left out sometimes

how'd you hear second hand? this thread is how everybody heard... outside of goose that is, but I had to make sure he was good with leading the team

gg i think its gonna be a bad team. could anyone hit me up on practice times or anything..i havent heard anything about practices.
