Clicking Edit button shows blank text field instead of populating text of post

Sometimes, when I click to edit a post, I'll get a blank text field instead of the forums populating the box with the text I've already posted.

Is anyone else having the same issue?

I just tried to edit your post and it filled in the text as it should have.

Edit: still works .

Maybe you're having connectivity problems?

It might just be me. I'd rather it be me because then I could just troubleshoot my own computer(s) instead of the forums. Last time I did that, it didn't go so well.

It could be bad cache. If you press Ctrl+F5, does it fix itself?

Hm, I can't seem to reproduce the issue at the moment, but if/when I encounter it next, I'll try to remember to try a force refresh.

Just encountered the issue again. CTRL+F5 didn't fix it.

But I'm starting to suspect I'm the only one encountering this issue and then only on certain posts.

I'm wondering if there's a common link (like an emoticon or a special characters or a certain character threshold) between all the posts that throw a blank text field when I try to edit...

I got this problem as well when posting. I fixed it by copy-pasting my entire post into the "Edit" pane and making my edits that way. I couldn't find a workaround. :\

So I'm not the only one.

I have mixed feelings about that. I had hoped it only affected me, but it gives me hope there's a forums-wide fix that will fix the issue forever.
