Christmas Down Under

One US dollar now buys a small house (well not quite but you get the idea).

Unfortunately inflation keeps driving up the costs of cardboard boxes here.

Mate its only 20 hours....of the most painful uncomfortable travel you are ever likely to experience.

Still better than 48 hours of excruciating travel.

Of course, I don't like to fly anyway. (I don't like standing in lines, I don't like waiting, I don't like crowds, I don't like turbulence.)

On the plus side our dollar which was on parity with you guys has dropped through the floor. One US dollar now buys a small house (well not quite but you get the idea).

Does this mean I have a new currency to (playfully) tease others about?

I still miss the days when I could crack jokes about the Canadian dollar.
