When we asked for donations to cover web hosting at the beginning of the year, I had not anticipated having to pay to transfer our domain name record from one registrar to another during the month of May. I apologize for not mentioning this "bump in the road" before, but the account had plenty of fundage at the time.
The bank account for the Christian Gamers Alliance is currently sitting at $36.35. This will only cover three more months of web hosting. Rather than wait until the last minute and frantically poke and prod people for donations to keep the forums online, I thought it wiser to ask starting now.
Our only current expenses are our domain name ($8.95 a year, I believe) and our web hosting account ($9.95 a month). Considering the size and activity of this community, these expenses are light and should be no trouble to manage.

And as always, I recognize that different people are at different points financially. There will never be a charge to use these forums and I will never "rattle a tin cup" or guilt-trip those who are unable to donate. As the Bible says, "Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7, New American Standard Bible).
