Christian attitude

I know I have messed up in ally chat, I know I have blown up. No, it is not right, but I am trying to do better. I do not set out to hurt you guys, and I want to apologize for those I have. In the process of trying to do better, I am going to mess up. Everyone messes up, but when someone messes up, do we say enough and kick them out? If they admitted they messed up, and are trying to do better, than no, you shouldn't. Yet, I have tried to help people out in ally chat and have faced the fact that they have set me to ignore. How many people have me set to ignore? Just cause I messed up, is that enough reason to not let me help you if I am able to and desire to? Is that the Christian attitude we should have? How many times did Jesus say we are to forgive our neighbor?

Bonita,

First, I want to commend you on how you've been doing lately. I've definitely seen a change in you over the last week or so. I will continue to pray for you.

As for the others in the guild/alliance and your status on their ignore list, chances are that either they've forgotten you are there because they don't see anything you say in game anymore, or they assume the worst and don't bother to take you off to see if you've changed. As you once said to me, people log onto GW to have fun, unfortunately, to some, your pain was a distraction to their fun, so they chose at that point to tune you out. I'm not saying this was right, or wrong, but it was their choice at that time. I would encourage everyone to give people a second chance: in-game, by removing people from your ignore list, as well as someone in your real-life who may be difficult to deal with.

The other problem is that we definitely don't get everyone in our alliance onto this forum, let alone any significant portion of our own guild. Posting here is nice for a few reasons. Most importantly, it doesn't depend on everyone being logged in when the message is sent. It also allows a conversation to be handled away from the distractions of the game. I strongly believe that our guild would not have lasted as long as it had without these forums. Finally, there is no ignore list on the forums, it's not needed here because the conversations are at a slower pace where people can think out their reactions and any major problems can be moderated.

bonita give em time sometimes it takes quite a bit of time if other feel slighted against by someone. you just have to do your best and leave it in gods hands. if they are good christians they'll realize that you've amended your ways over time and remove you of their ignore list because of your great examples. there also will be those who may never remove you just do what you must to keep yourself straight with god and leave it to him. it all in his plan. just keep on the right path and don't let it bother you.
