here is an article about one of the companies that i used to work at:

it gives some insight about the current situation in china with religion, freedom and all that jazz.

but every company had its weaknesses.
things aren't all that pretty.
in fact i started to hate the company, which is why i left.
again it shows people are sinners, even christians.
anyway....
one great thing that the company did was to get the permission to have bible studies and all church gatherings.
which is saying a lot for religioius freedom in china.


Praise the Lord for that.
 
This is very interesting. I didn't know there was state-sanctioned religious gatherings in China. I thought they were fully against religious practices.

They are trying to catch up with the west economically. If they continued to hold their citizens to the old rules, they could never catch up.
 
There is a lot happening in light of the upcoming olympics. I'll beleive they've turned the corner so to speak when they continue down this path when the worlds economic giants are no longer looking their way after the olympics.
