This thread has gone slightly off topic...and yet, it is strangly familiar. Yes, I do own the car pictured above. I'll prove it...I'll grab a picture of me and the car together and post it later, I'm at work right now. But, I will do it.

One of my friends has that same 1:18 scale car GP :) ....YES i have friends...

There was a LAN last year???

yes there was a lan last year,

G_P if that really is your car.. i might have to go up to ST paul this summer, stay with some friends and then drive up and see you so i could take that baby out for a spin...

so... hot.. must resist....

your son will get to drive that car one day i bet

G_P's Car=Chick magnet.

in all seriousness GP can i barrow your car for like 1 week while i am at school i would leave you with my

02 Ford (yeah baby) explorer sport

02 Ford (yeah baby) explorer sport. Those go pretty quick but they dont handle very well.... (i have to test drive stuff every once in a while) They take FL820s oil filters and a 13mm socket, and 5.3 quarts of oil.

Goodness back on topic and off of cars. Ody you get on 75 n and just keep going my church is right off of it and so is my house. Money wise I am thinking food and convention costs will be $100. or less. If everything goes well no hotel expenses at all cause I'm gonna kidnap church members to put people up. So other then that you'll just need spending money and gas money. From Atlanta I think it's about 4 hours driving normal speed limits. I hope that helps. Blessings,"Angel"

Total Est. Time: 3 hours, 31 minutes Total Est. Distance: 204.87 miles... Says the oracle at mapquest. Im thinking about going, and i may drag a friend along.

Which friend?????

I cannot make it by the way. They expect me to work on Sundays can you beleive a church would be that way!!

hey its the only day a week you have to work icthus ;) though elders SHOULD be able to preach once in a while ^_^

my explorer is not what you test drove i can almost promise you that, its a manual baby, has some really good get up and go, has had a few tweaks done to it too.. i just wish i could put a rocket engine in it, make the 30hr trip from School to home a little bit faster ^_^

Atleast you dont have the 3.0 flex fuel engine. If your doing your own oil change beware of the starter solinoid right under the oil filter (good plan Ford). If you twist the right way you can arc the starter and burn a hole in the new filter, or worse. They are also pretty under-powered for a 3 liter. I never said your truck was slow, just dont try to slolom with it, lol :).
