I have a few questions. since i sepnd alot of time on the actual game and not on the forums, i have a few questions about it. What happens on these retreats? How much $$ should i be looking at if i decide to go? and How many people and who is going to be there? I live in Marietta Georgia so if i do decide to go it will be a straight shot up 75. Anyway lol thanks

I would recommend you bring about $100 + gas..but you may not spend anywhere near that much.

I will definately be going to this year's convention, and I plan on bringing about 3 or so friends with me. I'm picking up someone from the airport, someone from the bus depot, a friend just outside of town, and then I'm heading to Tulsa to meet up with some other friends and we'll all head out together to Knoxville. It should be a blast! (last year's was)

i have said it before but i will recap

Last year we had about twenty or so sign up (Elihu confirm?) all in all about 10 actually did show, only 4 of those where long distance travelers the rest where locals, though 3 more did come down on saturday for the lan party (cool).

Last year we winged it alot, since the group was so small we could, but we had great fellowship time (ooo love paint ball) come competition (thats right who is the shark catcher... ) and some Bible study (the teaching was very horrible, and subpar dont go if the bring back the same guy, trust me i wont.....).

other than that the cost is still being determinded but basicly figure your trip, we are looking at possibly having host famlies ect so no need to get hotels (sweet action).

Thats all i know the persont o talk to is Elihu (Fjobornedakjflkdlfghdafgjloagysmalalalalaka in game.... )

I will be there, and you really dont want to know how much i am spending... Put it this way.. Ive been puting $100 a month away since november :p
Last year was a blast. We spent a lot more than i suspet we will this year cos everything is more planned out this year.

last year was all off the cuff lots of random fun'ness, though the one thing i will miss the most is shooting the british.. i mean rizz,

Last game at paint what does the (stupid) American and the (Brave) British man do?

They stand on oppisite sides of the field unloading an entire hopper at eachother, not taking time to aim at anyothers, no there was blood, glory, vengence, pride, honor at stake here, who would go down first the American, or the British.... wait and see

ask who led it and you will understand why it was so bad... man what where they thinking trying to use that guy.... ^_^

Okay. What.

I guess i missed the post on another CGA convention.

<wonders about Odale and the Porsche making the trip from Georgia>

That is if the Porsche makes it.

Don't forget to bring your own case of oil.

I cannot remember which is older, Odale or the Porsche.....

I hope to be able to go again this year, last year was a blast!

It really depends on if I am able to get that much time off work, and I won't know untill about two months ahead of time.

Hehehehehehehe.... i am thinking of selling my current one and buying a 951 (944 turbo) or a 944 s2. They arent really that fast, and i hate to talk about it b/c everyones like OOOOO you have a PORSCHE!!! Oh my GOSH... etc etc.. :) Hope to have the new one buy then.

This thread has gone slightly off topic...and yet, it is strangly familiar. Yes, I do own the car pictured above. I'll prove it...I'll grab a picture of me and the car together and post it later, I'm at work right now. But, I will do it.
