This weekend, starting at Noon PST on Friday, all bosses in Cantha will be three times as likely to drop a green item. The triple goodness will run through 11:59 p.m. PST on Sunday, January 28, so get ready to go green hunting!

This sounds like good farming to me! Deeproot Sorrow, here I come.
 
This is the first time I've seen them do a special event for a previous chapter. Kinda nice. Wish they'd do a triple on all greens though.
 
I would be so awesome if they did triple drop for first GW. I would be in Sorrows furnace all day. Im not to fond of cantha, I dont know as many places to farm greens there.

head into SF. Go as a W/Mo. I go as Build. (haven't checked new skills from factions or NF) Then take the two monk henchies. You can pretty much do all of SF, just not the quests. Go slow, and use a bow (use the longest range) to pull. By taking so few members, you'll end up with a ton of gold. Bring a salvage kit and pick up everything you can. Also, (unless they've changed something on me again) by taking only 3 members you'll have a better chance at getting green items.
 
Usually the best way to get into SF 5 man group is to be a barrage/pet ranger, monk or Minion master.
The build that I use for b/p is:

barrage(e)
charm animal
comfort animal
rebirth
winnowing/favorible winds/throw dirt (depending on what group needs)
troll ungent or whirling defense
distracting shot
savage shot or power shot

I am still trying for more Naga Skins and Skull Jujus as you slay the Naga and the Gakis during triple green weekend. I'll buy all you can harvest. Thanks.
 
If I can get on this weekend, i will probably go after ssaki's sword, ghails staff, and mabey stonereaper. Unless a group gets together and farms im planning on soloing. But I am always happier to go with groups of people farming.
 
Woot! i though Anet gave up on Factions, they dont seem to pay too much attention to it. THANKS to the Green Reference page, it will come in handy a lot, well for me at least :D

I anticipate this being one of the more popular runs during the Canthan green weekend. You leave from Vasburg Armory for this run. A traditional team is comprised of four players, Monk, MM, Warrior, and SS or Ele.

Since Monk Heros are arguably the most widely used Heros of all this will be a valuable place to farm this weekend.

Scar Eater is the first boss you encounter. Jayne Forestlight is either the 3rd or 4th depending on how you go. This run is quick and relatively easy.
 
Maybe, with Paul out of town, I'll be able to get online this weekend.

Oh wait, I have to go to a baby shower two hours away. Yippee... :rolleyes:
