Cantha Continent Green Areas????

Hey, got a quick question. I don't have factions right now and I have been postponing it because I just started playing GW again and I figure since NF is coming out that i would just wait to get factions. I preordered NF already and I now i just found out that triple green is happening on factions. I just got a bonus at work and I figured i could buy factions right now.

Would it make it worth while to buy it right now??? Would i still be able to participate in the triple green weekend??? How far is it from the town that I would show up in with my current Lvl 20 character to the Green areas??? If I could devote about 5 hours before friday when it starts could I get to these areas??? If not i will probably just wait until after I play through NF for a while. Thanks for the input.
 
ya a few greens and many hours wasted getting there it aint worth it... just wait until nightfall or you can even skip it entierly (tho can you make an assassian or ritualist in NF i dont think so but idk)

New classes are chapter specific. Assassin and Ritualist will only be createable in Cantha, Dervish and Paragon will only be creatable in Elona
 
ahh got it thx, so unless you want an sin or rit then skipping Factions might not be such a bad idea, but thats ur choice
 
Wow, quite a response!!!! But I allowed myself to be a little childish and I bought it last night. I completed tyria a while ago and I know NF is coming out soon but I had always planned to get Factions eventually anyway. This way I just get it now. Thanks for all of the feedback though.
 
ya i guess we were wrong.. you can at least farm Ghail now. anyway Have fun!
