Can't pay at Battle.net

Just a little tidbit of information. I recently changed my billing options on Battle.net, and it stored all of my information... so I thought I'd be all set. Then I get a notice and my account was locked - WoW admin page still had my old credit card information.

Seems there's a single line of text on the battlenet page that says you can't pay for your WoW subscription via battlenet. So what was the point of the merger?!
 
Durruck: The merger is an early step for Blizzard's new Facebook tool. It allows Blizzard to control you via the game, and the next two steps, which are tattoo your forehead and wrist.

I jest. It is, however, an early step for Blizzard's new Battle.net framework, which will allow you to talk to your friends who play Blizzard games, even if they're not in the same game as you. This would allow, for example, me to whisper you in Diablo 3 asking you if you wanted to come raid in Cataclysm.
