Can Sin go punished?

Jesus sacrifice was a big push to taking your sins.

Could someone do as Jesus did except the big sacrifice?

I know someone very close, whenever he'd know something was wrong, a bad sin, he'd punish himself by making his Dog bite him, or bashing his fists at the wooden doors, or try to tear his own skin with his bare hands, or bang his head many times on a door/wall/floor/hard object.

Would that be another way, to punish for the Sin to be gone?

It is sadistic, so that would be Satan's handy work?

^ hm, I think your a little confused man. Hurting yourself after sinning is pointless. Its not the pain the purifies sin, its perfection.

no, it wasn't a big push, it was the end. Jesus never did a sinful act his whole existence(which is eternal). Only because Jesus was perfect, He could bear our sins on himself. That makes us perfect and clean if we accept that dieng for our sins is indeed what Jesus did, and that Jesus is God. If Jesus wasn't perfect, then the penalty would be hell. If we are not perfect and without sin the penalty is hell. Jesus lived a perfect life, and died for us giving us a way to be perfect from sin. (Psalm 103:12)

I feel sorry for that guy. He isn't going anywhere with his guilt hurting. The only way to heaven on your own is if you never sin your whole life. Then if you die without having sinned your entire life, you would be worthy of heaven. Once you are imperfect, there is no changing it by yourself. You can't do anything to fix it. Only Jesus can fix it.

^like I said, no. Sin isn't removed through punishment.

yes, what you described is sadistic. I think the person u know is subject to false beliefs/ satan.

No, the only reason Jesus' sacrafice meant anything was because He was completley pure, and that He was not only man, but God as well.

Martin Luther ( While he was a monk ) did things like that too. It does not work. The punishment for sin has already been paid. It's like preordering a game, paying upfront all the costs, and when you go to pick it up you hand him fifty dollars. The bill has already been paid.

you got it.
Jobs done. if it could have been done another way, it'd be stupid to give your life.
