With the Ipaq you can by these little cards that are... hmmm.. Ill scan one just for you. Each card holds 64 MB of music and the thing itself has a large HD itself... and it can play any format of files, including movies and music... can store images and play alot of games..... Ill get to scanning that card brb

Ok, I scanned it.... the Red lines indicate one inch from the top left corner.. the dmensions of the thing are. 1x1.25 inches.. and the thickness is about as thick as 5 sheets of paper

The Pepsi IPod contest is for canadians, their giving a free ipod away every hour till christmas.
The Ipod doesn't hold 1000 songs it holds 10,000.
I'm thinking of paying $450 for the IPod. The sony player is $499. I told my mom I wanted to buy a mp3 player so on my bday she gave me $400 to put towards it, and I'm going to put the rest.

Byblos the SD cards are expensive, I paid $98 for 128MB for my camera. And the 1GB card would cost $500. But thanks for the suggestion.:)

I know I was thinking of getting the 20GB regular one. Thats what I'm leaning towards too.
I like the sony one but it doesn't read ID3 tags.
Its weird I was checking prices from the online aple store and the compter store, and the IPods are about the same price but headphones and stuff are alot cheaper. The remote headphones are like $75 in futureshop but their 35 on the online store.

This was almost the same except u could stop play skip etc on it and it was made for the ipod.

Ok I just came back from future shop and I got a 20GB IPod and a IPod dock. I haven't used it yet, just finishing my sushi before I open it, so that I don't get soy sause on it. But I'm pretty excited.
No more electronic purchaces for me till Boxing Day.

A side question y are sales people so pushy, I don't want the extended warranty and I don't need u to go on and on about the benifits of it even after I say no. And I'm not made of money y ask if I want to buy every Ipod extra there is to buy (well not till next payday

If they sell you the extended warranty, they get some kind of bonus on their salary.

But I hear ya, I just wanted to buy my HP Athlon 2800+, but it took that sales person like 30 mins just to understand, "I dont want extended warranty!".
Then that salesperson doesnt help and has to make me carry the cpu open, with a big plastic bag.

Thats good you got a Ipod. Hopefully you wont get something at 'pushy' futureshop.

yea... my dad had TONS of problems buying this computer for $1000!!!! bestbuy is VERY pushy... anyway, congradulations on the ipod mechboy!!! btw, DO NOT DAMAGE IT, ipods are notorious for being kinda flimsy if you drop it or knock it (not like drop it on the couch from about a foot, but u know what i mean)

yeah I think I might go buy a case for it tomorrow. It would suck if I broke it. I think I would get really upset.:(

Yeah pushy sales people are not cool, but I like best buy, their real friendly over there and compared to future shop they know their stuff better. I only bought it from FS because they have a 90 day price warranty. So if it goes on sale anywhere I get the difference back.

need an iPod? Try free iPods.com. They were intervied by G4TechTV and it appears to be legit. I'm just a couple names from completing mine.

The basic idea of it is you sign up, do 1 trial offer, and then get 5 people to sign up and do 1 trial offer. Do something like the Blockbuster video rentals or Ancestry.com and then just cancel at the end of the trial period so you never have to pay at all.

If you do it, please sign up using this link to help me out: www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=10179435

If you want to feel better about it before signing up, check out the G4TechTV interview: www.g4techtv.com/videos/index.html?video_key=8872
