I have been hired as Danny's coach and have been training him hard. I make him eat healthy meals including tons of fruit and veggies along with a big bowl of n00bs every day. Danny has been required to recite every terran unit's hit points, attack damage, hot key, and counters while he does 600 push ups a day. Now is the time that I feel that Danny is ready to take on one of the most dangerous Zerg breeds to ever spread their creep on b net. Yes, He's now ready to face Tek in an epic best of 5.

Now is the time that I feel that Danny is ready to take on one of the most dangerous Zerg breeds to ever spread their creep on b net. Yes, He's now ready to face Tek in an epic best of 5.

I hardly think I'm one of the most dangerous Zerg "breeds" out there. If a Zerg brood was modeled after my gameplay, I think they'd be extinct by now. Or dominating entire planets with fleets of brood lords. One or the other.

But Danny only gets 7 hours of gameplay on a trial key and I don't know if playing against me is really the best use of his time. I'd imagine there are more fun things to do than play 1v1 matches against me (like go mass carriers in a 4v4).

Maybe make the set best of 3 instead of best of 5? We can always rematch if/when Danny buys the full version.

I can try to play a few matches during Straturday tomorrow, but past that, I'm going to be distracted for a while.

That's just what the most dangerous breed would say! Don't let Tek lull you into a sense of security he's got skills he doesn't even know he has. He might even let you win 2, 3 maybe even 20 times just so he can get the satisfaction of trouncing you that one time when you least expect it. Still winning? Than you are still expecting it and Tek knows! The man will toy with you like a zergling and a scv his sadistic streak knows no bounds!

Tek's just bluffing. He has Idra juice running through his veins (but with a scholar attitude), has an APM that breaks the observer stat window, Micro that's so pro people began calling it Tekcro, and has a statue of his hands in a rural South Korean town.

That said, my money's on Danny. Zerg needs buff.

So while I've implicitly consented to play in a match against Dannymeister, has Danny agreed to the match?

(And I still don't think it'd be that interesting to see me play against Danny.)

i Don't think Danny knows about it LOL. I'll have to tell him later. He should have another 2 hours left I think. He's done some 4's and 3's with me already. It would be great experience for him because he hasn't 1v1 yet and I want to see if all the advice i gave actually helped. : )

I'll play against Tek when the time comes, but I only have two hours left and I was hoping for more coaching tonight during those two hours. I'll agree with him that 1v1 isn't the most interesting thing for me yet.

Most Terran players don't build anything else aside from medivacs. Just fyi. If you feel particularly brave (or confident you'll win) you might try producing a couple banshees.

OK, now I have 35 apm IF Mostly Harmless is constantly nudging me to do my job on TS and that's with the one build I know so far. A build which Tek seems to despise, by the way.

You know what I like playing best? Me and ToJ friends versus those random "bad guys" out there.

Not so much "despise" as "bored with." Bioball seems to comprise between 80% and 90% of the of the Terran strategy bell curve. I'm just tired of playing against bioball since I've done it so much already. I could probably train and learn to counter bioball, but that would require more time and effort than I'm willing to invest in a single game these days.

So rest assured, it's nothing personal. There's just not much point to playing a game when I know that some time between the 14 minute mark and the 15 minute mark, a troop of marines and marauders is going to roflstomp my base and/or expansion.

Tek....do you realize how much stronger a mech army is compared to bio ball? A pure thor and hellion push is A LOT harder for a zerg to deal w/ than bio ball.

Yes, but I haven't played 908340958340968546 matches where Terran went mech.

correction bioball is still the most difficult thing for zerg to deal with. It is the only army that rebuilds faster than a zerg army.

At least with bio ball you have to have the skills to press "T" to stim when being attacked......Mech build you just send and GG your dead while I'm making my sandwhich in game.

Mech is stronger, but also takes longer to rebuild, most of my games vs mech are kinds like this
1. (Z) 150 vs (T) 115 I get slaughtered but i killed 2 thors so moral victory
2. (Z) 150 vs (T) 100 attack again....killed some more thors
3. (Z) 150 vs (T) 90ish Rebuild more units...sigh...i hate terran, why are 3 thors stronger than 50 roaches...?!
4. (Z) 160 vs (T) 80ish Rebuild some more units - finally finish off the fight. GO WIN DENY EXPOS!!

Bioball is usually me struggling to keep up with econ/army at the same time
1. 60 vs 60 - fight dead even, i might have 4 lings left...great
2. 100 vs 100 -same result as first fight terran remakes
3. 150 vs 150 - can't surround the massive blob that holds a choke point at every spot on the map it's okay I killed 3 marines though!
