Three ideas for tonight for your comments and vote. I will be online approximately 8:30 pm EST so we could do any of these after that time when there are enough people to do so.

1) Fissure of Woe......the last two polls for farming were won by FoW. Alas we didn't have favor either time. I wanted to put this on here for another shot.....again if we have favor.

2) Contract on the life of Drago Stoneherder. We have a lot of Rangers in our guild. IMO this is the primo bow in the game. The sundering string on Drago's Flatbow is now 20/20 (20% armor penetration/20% chance) instead of the old 10/10. This would be a modified Oro run to Sorrow's furnace. There are 6 boss spawn points on Orozar runs (not counting the quest). Drago spawns at one of the six every time. We would attempt to kill just Drago.....restart at war camp and do it again. If this wins we will go with full guild group of 6 or more. If we don't have enough real peeps we will fill out group with henchies or ask for more real peeps from our alliance pals.

I already have one of these bows obtained in this very manner by going repeatedly with henchies. Just for tonight I will give Drago's to another team member of my choice if it drops for me. I have seen pricing on this bow twice...once for 90k and once for 60k. The second seems more realistic. Any others seen prices on Drago's Flatbow?

3) Kurzick faction farming. I need information here. Hit G on your keyboard while in-game. Under the alliance tab I saw where SoE had 50,000 some odd Kurzick faction points. Our alliance guilds had somewhat less. Can we do a farming run to collect Kurzick faction? Where? What quest or mission? How hard? I am in the dark here but would like to do this to help our guild. Someone please tell us what we need to know to do this.

Amendment to #3.............Based on Pastori's comments in the next post I will amend this to say the Altrumm Ruins challenge mission.

Easiest places to farm Faction are:

1. Our very own guild hall. Grab a team of four and do an alliance battle. However, this is PvP, so it does not build any of your own wealth. Typical run earns anywhere from 200 faction if your team is slaughtered, to 800 in a nearly flawless victory.

2. Altrumm Ruins: This challenge mission pits your team of eight against the clock. Earn as many kills as you can. Each kill drops a "raw amber chunk", which you have to pick up to earn credit. Each boss you kill drops four amber chunks, and adds 60 seconds to your timer. This builds anywhere from 400-1k faction per 15-20 minute run, and a small amount of gold (200-500).
 
Duel of the Houses (repeatable quest) out of Brauer Academy is probably a quicker (and easier) way of faction farming. It's a quest where you fight a group of Duelists from an opposing Kurzick House.

It can be done a couple different ways, either with a full group of trappers, or more of a balanced build, but basically, you run out of Brauer Acedemy into Drazach Thicket, and find Duel Master Vaughn (he's not far.) No one accepts the quest to start with. One person stays behind at him, while everyone else goes to the place where the Duelists spawn. The trappers lay down as many traps as they can in the general area where the duelists spawn. Then, when the traps start going off, the person who stayed behind accepts the quest. The duelists spawn, get slammed by the traps, and are finished off by the party. Note: Someone needs to bring Frozen Soil, as the duelists are fond of using Res Signet.

When they're all dead, everyone talks to Duel Master Vaughn, accepts the quest and cashes it in, for a reward of 3k XP, 400 Kurzick faction, and 150 gold (I believe).

Run back to Brauer Academy, rinse, repeat.

(Also, unless they changed it which I don't believe they have, if someone has the quest A New Escort, which you get in Brauer Academy, then you can get 4 level 15 merchants to join your party right outside the gate. Not much, but an extra bit of insurance against the duelists.)
 
Thrawn......great info on Brauer Academy. Unfortunately I am not there yet. I would be most interested in doing that when I get there.

Three way tie so we went to FoW since we didn't get to do it previously. Belle got two shards and we got to open two chests and get as far as the first bone dragon. For many it was their first FoW experience. We had a great time.
