The following is an exerpt from a poorly written journal which Golgaros wrote from Bugrol's exact words.
Bugrol grow up in Avalon to ogre woman named Yiggie Big-Hips and unknown skinny man (Avalonian), but not have many friends. Bugrol get picked on for being part ogre and part skinny, and Bugrol sad. Bugrol try to help others, but others scared, and Bugrol scared of blue things (Inconnu).
Bugrol left Avalon with no friends, and found people fighting rockmen (boulderlings). Bugrol help kill so many that he earns nickname of Shalefist!
Bugrol went to Salisbury and saw nice, rich man who offered to use Bugrol's strength to help others he said. But Bugrol get tricked and become slave! Bugrol not sold, but used as bodyguard. Bugrol wanted to get free, and to smash puny elves who hurt place (Albion). But Bugrol have strong will, and do as he is told. Bugrol very sad and have no friends. Bugrol disobey orders and he get beat and tortured. Bugrol pray to God that He send help.
Bugrol escort Cottrell to big hill with big stones, but Bugrol refuse to hurt people who fight for justice. Bugrol beat by other bodyguards and tossed off hill!
Bugrol land in hand of Salisbury giant and very, very scared! Not want to become snack! But giant friendly and takes Bugrol to little trade place by Salisbury. Bugrol see skinny with gray hair who looks powerful! Har har har! Bugrol saved by skinny who says stuff about how he should be free to live his life like he wants! Skinny named Golgaros Vespa, and helps Bugrol by giving much coin, but Bugrol not want to leave his only friend.
Bugrol becomes servant of Golgaros, even though Golgaros say he not need one, and spread his justice! Bugrol happy to help place in times of war. Master seems to be very sad, and Bugrol's funny pink robe dance not help.
Master says Bugrol can make him happy by defending land and smashing puny kobolds and elves! Master says to always defend smart guys (Spellcasters) and quick guys (Rogues).
Bugrol very happy not to be slave and to have good friend and Master.
