You're just jealous too. The Halo story is one of the greatest stories I've heard. The game play is a TON of fun. Yes, Halo 2's campaign sucked, but it made up for it in multiplayer. Halo 3 is going to be (hopefully) a combination of the best aspects of Halo and Halo 2.

I agree, what an elaborate story. Seriously, I was surprised how awsome a story was in this one game.... still... game play... it wasn't really bad... it was just, pretty average game. seriously... the game has GREAT multiplayer options... GREAT story line, yet... still... the FPS graphics and game play are just... lacking.
