If anyone's interested.... http://www.epubbud.com/book.php?g=UU4E6G2V is the link to an excerpt of a book i'm working on. It's available to download onto any iPod or iPhone, which you can either go to it on your computer or on the device itself. You can also read it in web browser. I'd love to hear some responses on how it is!

and if anyone's into the Fantasy/Sci Fi genre and I have one or two of those, too!

I tried to read it in the browser, but quickly gave up and will be downloading it to read this weekend. The online formatting was terrible (I'm sure it had nothing to do with your work, but more how the uploader interpreted your paragraphs, etc.)

I do have one question. Does the story open from the point of view of the character writing in a journal/diary?

I wrote it as if I was the narrator, but also as if the person was telling the story. It can be a little confusing, but I think I did it the best I can. I'll have him sometimes say stuff like, "Yeah, that's right" I said, or "Yeah, that's right" Sammy said.

I did try to do it in a journal at first, but got rid of it. I might try it again.

Also, the story is a christian real life one, not fantasy, so if you want my fantasy ones just let me know.

Based off true or somewhat true events?

They're inspired by some events, and based on them some. I wouldn't say that it was flat out "based off true events". In Louisiana, where I'm from, crazy stuff had been happening. There have been thirteen teen suicides in a year. And now we're having adult suicides. One of my former favorite teachers drove to Vicksburg to the Mississippi River and drove her car into it and drowned herself.

So it's kinda based on that, somewhat. That's what inspired me to write it.
