I've seen bizarre mods for other games before. Since it will never happen I thought I'd mention for some strange reason when thinking of L4D additions I can soooooo see a Sesame Street mod.
Showers of muppet stuffing instead of blood.
An Elmo horde swarming towards you shouting hugs.
A Big Bird tank (Big Bird chunking around cars and pulling up the sidewalk. You knew those kids would push him to it
)
Cookie Monster pulling you towards him with his tongue while uttering "COOKIE!" (that's hard to say when you are "tongue tied" too ^^)
Oscar popping out of trash cans and spewing vomit on you to attract the Elmos.
Walls strewn with mad crayon scribblings saying "can you tell me how to get OUT of Sesame Street?!!"
A Count hunter. As he knocks down survivors he says "one survivor" "two survivor, ah, ah, ah!" etc.
Not sure what the witch would be but it would probably be chanting "sunny days, sunny days, sunny days laughing my cares away." over and over.
The idea fits disturbingly well IMO (emphasis on disturbing).
...and yes you would still have automatic weapons
