Best freeware program to create/decompress RAR files?

Okay, I know about QuickZip and 7zip, but what other freeware solutions are out there for creating and decompressing RAR files? I'd rather not install WinRAR, as I'll just have to uninstall it after the trial period ends.

To use winrar with tugzip, you have to have winrar installed but it doenst use the program, just the compression protocal.

Hey, be nice. I've made plenty of nonsensical statements in my time, too. It's amazing what we post when we're in a rush.

As for re-installing WinRAR after it expires, I'd rather not do that. It's still dodging the license, which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place. WinRAR is a great program. I'd buy it if I had the money, but I don't, so I'm looking for a legitimately free solution.
 
I know, I was just kidding. :S

I use winRAR simply because it can unpack just about any archiving file type.

While we're on the subject of different OS's, I use UnRarX to decompress RAR files in Mac OS X. It's lightweight, relatively small in size (1.6 MB), runs in a terminal-style window, and is very fast. Highly recommended for any Mac user.
