Well my name is quite simply what people call me around church. "Brother Hart" Which I try to live up to with the high school kids that I work with.

any connection with owen or brett hart?

Yeah... no. :-) But my Jr. High gym teacher used to call me "Hart Foundation". But he was weird, as are most gym teachers.

Not to derail this topic by bringing it back on topic, but...

Bill is my real name. I played football in high school, and I was pretty good at it (won state as a sophomore, all-conference my junior year before an injury took away much of my senior year). Anyhow, I would get so worked up before games that my coach started calling me Wild Bill. I also should note that I weighed 240 pounds at the time, could squat over 500, and ran a 4.9 40 yard dash.

I was also the wedgebuster on the kickoff team. The wedge on a return team is a group of five blockers that stand shoulder to shoulder to clear a path for the ball carrier, and my job was to bust through that so that someone else could make a tackle. In the first game of my junior year, I hit the wedge at full speed against one of the smaller schools in our area. I knocked two blockers back so hard that they flew back into the ball carrier, and all three fell on their back with me on top. In essence, I tackled three guys at once, one of whom sustained a concussion.

That's how you earn a nickname.

Or you could score a soccer goal from across the field and say "well, it must've been the chicken soup I ate for dinner or something."

Heh but that's got nothing on you man, that's AWESOME... like stc said, don't let me get on your bad side.....

i had another name i was considering when signing up. i got it from the soccer team i was on (SOCCER FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) see i really REALLY REALLY! didnt like the soccer captians, and the feeling was mutual. they targeted me for every thing they could think of as a punishment. the first part of my nickname spikey, is cuz my hair is almost ALWAYS! spiked. then hills came from the "torture" the captians would impose. on our soccer field we had a VERY steep hill. they would make me run up it over and over. i would laugh the whole time. they would get so mad, nothing they did made me feel punished. most of the times i didnt even do anything to deserve their punishments. they just didnt like me. it was hilarious. so my name spikey hills was made.
