I managed to play in two Warsong Gulch battlegrounds today, one of which I entered when the Horde had already captured the flag twice. The other BG was quite enjoyable and I managed to kill a flag carrier while he and two other Horde were attacking me. +Stamina gear FTW.

Unfortunately, I've been waiting in the queues for over two and a half hours for a third round, and I'm still sitting in Ironforge.

Can anyone give me an estimated "prime time" for the 41-49 PvP battlegrounds? That is, when do the largest number of 41-49 players queue up for battlegrounds?

Also, how many players does it take on each side to "trigger" the battleground?

If I think of any other questions about the mechanics of battlegrounds, I'll post them here.
 
The bg's get triggered at different points for the different bg's.

I am guessing you can get in AB and WSG. I think both start with 10 people on each side in que. Now, those people could be afk and never get in game. WSG requires 5 on each side to contiue and AB 7.

The wait times are complete unknowns to me at those levels. I would guess today being the 4th of July that it would be slow. I find at other levels it is about a 20 minute wait on average. WSG tends to be faster. The holiday weekends can make them faster as well. A holiday is when a bg gives double honor. The holidays rotate among the three bg's and then take a weekend off. They go from midnight Thursday thru midnight Monday.

generally picks up between 3-4ST and goes till 10-11ish ST though it all depends if one side is dominating ppl tend to stop queing and the major horde guild presence has left 40-49 (bullies)
