Theres a huge difference between anime and cartoons, for one, anime is a style, sure it might just come from the word "Animated" but that hardly means all cartoons are anime, duh

Whats with all these little kids liking sponge bob all of a sudden...
Every few years they seem to flock to a similar cartoon, Ren and Stimpy, Rockos modern Life, Pinky and the Brain by far Sponge Bob is my least favorite.

I think anime is good but not always the best thing for a Christian to watch, So many things today borrow elements from anime from Matrix bullet time which has been done before on anime to continueing storys with great charcters that American cartoons are starting to do like Samuri Jack.

I do not go out of my way to buy Anime but I watch the great ones when they come on TV such as Cowboy bebop, Trigun, Gundam, Reign.

Just talking about people i know who watch it about 30 of them are 13 year old girls and 4 of them are 20+ year old college attenders. Maybe I came off mean there sorry I just dont realy care for Nick tv anymore after they stoped showing Pete and Pete and Ren and Stimpy.
