Bad Dreams

Can Satan Cause us to dream of being in place's
where we for example (Get angry with someone
in a dream). A reason for this question is
because one time i've been asleep I dreamed
of Buying a computer game called Diablo 2 and
addon for Diablo 2) and then about two week's
later when I've been awake I've went to computer
swap meet and I've seen Diablo 2 Computer game
available for under $40 without the addon for
Diablo 2. Could Satan have been testing to see
if I would buy the Diablo 2 game and addon for
Diablo 2?
 
God has used dreams to communictae in the bible, but no references with satan doing so. God can test us too. Satan tempts.
 
Satan wouldn't tempt us through a dream, he would tempt us on a moment, to catch us unawares and unprepared.

Often we dream about things we dwell on while awake. So, why not dwell on Jesus!!!
 
Temptation to buy Diablo 2?
Hmm. I strongly believe Satan and his cohorts can mess with your mind in the dreams. I wrote a song, and in my diary, and told my friends about one dream that I still remember to now.
I'm in this house, and there are these TV screens all over the walls. On one of the screens is a screaming man. Then the TVs came off and started flapping after me like so many birds. I took off upstairs, and WHAM! The house was transformed into a castle like thing, and the TV with the screaming man had transformed into the screaming man himself, and he was clinging ahold of the edge of the roof. I reached down and pulled him up, but when I returned downstairs, there he was again, frozen in the TV. I pointed at the TVs and laughed: I knew I had beaten them (it's weird to explain) and all of a sudden I was frozen in place, screaming myself, and then something went through me, and it was a freezing-burning sensation.
Gad, it freaked me out, and that's not the first time I've felt that in a dream, that burning cold thing going through my flesh.


Now...I don't think God likes to terrorize his children in their dreams...so I can logically conclude that the only sources of the dream are these: me or the dark forces. As it stands, I rule out the fact that I can scare myself in a simple dream, seeing as how it was not me who froze myself, but rather an external source, a dark force that you could feel, and therefore I conclude that the dream was influenced if not coordinated by demons.



So. That's a freaky thing, but I DO believe demons can influence or even control dreams, though, yes, Satan tempts, does not test, and while it may be for the moment, sometimes he's waiting for multiple moments in the future, and what you do now will influence your choices in the future, where he waits with more temptations.
 
I agree with ultima .... people can , with the help of demonic forces, actually get access to your dreams through some astral projection for example...so i have been told by somebody that indulges in astral projection..... not cool at ALL ... but remember that you can ask God to protect you, your life and your mind while you sleep.......try it...He is fathfull !!
 
Whoa...astral projection? Whazzat? How does it work?
Get ahold of dreams...hmm. So that's how Leland Gaunt worked it out in Castle Rock. Shoulda known.
I, umm...I think that DEMONS can get ahold of your mind, but not people through demons...though it may be possible. I haven't seen anything like that or read of it before except like in books or games: "You have been Mind Controlled by the illithid!"
 
well....to be a bit more accurate ( and I'd rather that be a field that I do not investigate) .... I think one has to be open for a demonic influence of sorts ... this colleague of mine ... he had a dream one night and certain things happened in his dream ... which he kept to himself...and then later the same day a family member called him (she was into some weird stuff apparently) and asked him if he enjoyed the dream .... she could relate in detail ( well as much as he could remember) what happened and she said that she could control what happened in his dream...and since our dreams are in our minds the only way she could control "his" dream had to have been through some sort of demonic go-between ... I don't profess to know how much is true or not ...but he told me that she "visited" a few of the family members that night ! ..yikes !! maybe it has to do with the bloodline .. who knows... but lets not make a doctrine out of it

Scary. I hate the dark forces, but you know what...they provide some interesting readings and writings. Admit it. The dark side is appealing in some cases. Terrorizing in others. Threateningly real in all.
Which is why I stay away from "harmless" "fun" like boards, seances, channelings, mediums and whatnot.
It ain't cool to mess with stuff no man understands.
