Backpacking Sierras in California November 2012

Hey all,

I'm going on a backpacking trip to California for 4 or 5 days in November over the Veteran's Day holiday weekend.

Another CGAer is possibly going, so please let me know if you'd like to go too! Experience not required, but you should have a hardy spirit (but you have that already don't you? :) )
 
Hey speaking of backpacking, I recently learned about the whole "14ers" here in Colorado. I guess there is like some 50 odd [FONT=Verdana, Arial]Colorado peaks exceeding 14,000 feet in height and they are all hike-able without ropes/cabling. Lee have you done any of these yet? Some of the guys from my church have a map of them on their wall and they check them off as they complete the. "Doing another 14er this weekend" is a common phrase around here.[/FONT]
 
No, I haven't done the 14er's there yet but I'm familiar with what they are. When I move that's one of my goals :). I want to do at least 10, but hopefully a lot more.

OMGOODNESS Lee, even if I was close enough to do that there is just no way I could ever keep up with you. I get tired just thinking about it.
