I was flying back to Ironforge and my blasted gryphon died right above the molten lava and I fell in. I shielded really quickly, and attempted to swim my way back to saftey, only to be met by a gigantic tauren on a mechanoster that made me into roadkill for the other blasted gnomish mechanical vultures in Ironforge to scavange upon. The Shaman threw me a FROSTSHOCK!!! And summoned his pet (whaaat?!).....a bat...named Nerf. I knew I was over with, but thankfully (this is the only time I'll be thankful this happened) I got booted from the server before I would be utterly destroyed...yeah.

Just kidding.

Ok, the real story: My comp got attacked by this AIM virus that's been killing our computers here in college. I got the computer specialists to fix things, but it turns out my computer will need a reboot because of the severity of the virus. This virus basically creates a "backdoor" that sends and receives information to some jerk. My school network therefore killed my internet connection while I was playing to prevent the virus from spreading. As a result, Azzie and Zhou are temporarily out of service for at least a few days. :(

doh...sry to hear that. You might wanna get onto a "safe" computer and change your passwords just incase. For wow you can do that from the "Manage Account" part of the main page.
 
I think the biggest problem I'm going to have for a while will be re-downloading the 295734523578439876435784368973487435 patches that Blizzard put into the game. I saved 1.9 onto my memory stick, but I couldn't fit anything else...

Are the old mirror links to the old updates still on the toj website?
DOH I need to redownload CTRaidassist and Teamspeak as well...

Well, at least I have my computer back now. My internet is still going to be on school lockdown for a few days, though.

But yeah....I should download and burn the patch thingys.

Would it be faster if I just did the auto-update Bliz has when I attempt log in or should I download from filefront? I think Filefront has all the patches already.

I feel your pain! :( My internet here in Kuwait has been almost nonexistant for a couple months now. AAFES keeps promising to get it back up but hasn't happened yet. Oh well, Hope to see you online again soon!
