Awp_monkey Tourney

The awp_monkey tourney is set to go. It will be on Friday 6th June at 5pm EST. The map has been chosen as awp_city and will be on the server in time for the tourney.

The server will be locked at 4:50pm with the password awper. Then the first 16 players to connect will have a spot in the tourney. Here are the rules...

1. Names will be drawn at random.
2. Please spectate when you are not playing or inbetween rounds. Anyone who hordes into the game at the end of a match can AND WILL be kicked. Repeatedly doing this will forfeit their place in the tourney.
3. Awp_city is designed with no buyzone or spawnkill but if this is seen at all then the player to do so will be kicked and forfeit their place.
4. Only members of TOJ can enter the tourney.
5. The champion can be challenged at his/her convenience for a shot at the belt. If it changes hands i am to be notified.
6. The champion reserves the ruight to deny any challenge.
7. Any lag timeouts/leaving the server unexpectadly will not forfiet your place as long as myself or creshinbon are notified asap. You will get your match if you return before the night is out.

Ok i think that covers all the glaring obscenities that was wrong with the pump tourney. If i think of anything else i will let you know. Cresh will be helping me with this tourney also so please feel free to bug him about it too.

awp_city = not good.

CTs can see through the T base's walls in that map. plus, it's just a giant spawn camping map, the center theatre is waay too large. I would prefer sniper_x

Great.. another problem when we jus found a good lookin awp map.. wonder wat rizz'll do. cuz if that is the case, its unfair.

I should join this tourney, i've been practicing awp and usp very much :d
 
O and rizz, the map pack u uploading wasn't wrking and i checked today and it was gone from files section. I'd super duper appreciate it if u could re-upload it again (so lots o peep can save time q:P)
 
I'm out at my uncle's house painting my car. It's hard work. Phew. Yeah I'll be helping rizz with the tourny. I'll be back home and in CS and on AIM sunday night or monday morning. See you guys on the server then. Btw, if you don't know and have tourny questions, I'm on AIM as Ragnarok3122. I'm on when the crazy english time-zone rizz isn't :P
 
I didnt know awp_city had this problem. It seems perfectly symmetrical to me. Anyway it all depends on what map elite puts on the sever when the tourney is on.

Well what did i say 5est?

Thats like 10pm here so i guess i could stretch to 6est but not really any better than that.

If you want it changed tell me now and get me a link for that other map or it /will/ stay the same.
 
p.s. elite has been trying to upload map packs 3 & 4 but i think there is a small problem with the toj uploads. For now i have the map pack 4 here....
